IMPREGNANTE RESIN
An unsaturated polyester resin made of orthoftalic acid, melted in styrene and pre-accelerated. This resin adds good characteristics, a low shrinkage and high sprinkle power thanks to the reinforced fibres and mineral charges. MIXER IMPREGNANTE is indicated for the production of bodyworks, sanitaries, crash helmets, industrial machines parts and other manufactured articles with good mechanical characteristics. Considering its rheological characteristics, it is mainly used for manual modeling of flat pieces, for pressing under press at low-medium temperatures, for the teeming production of ornamental or sanitary articles or synthetic marble and sinter-marble. The low shrinkage of polymerisation allows the production of manufactured articles at high thickness.

| Cautions | Do not apply on thermostatic substracts, antirust, and antirust primers. The surface of the substract should be ROUGHENED WITH GRINDER AND GREASE FREE. Do not accelerate drying time by using heaters or infrared radiation. Do not add rest of catalyzed resin back to the original can which should be kept well closed. The product kept in the original packing at 20 °C and at 40-50 R.H. has a shelf life of 12 months. |
